I was outbid this morning on a Martin HD-28 guitar in San Fransico I was interested in buying, it sold at 10:15 AM. This afternoon I received two EBay messages in the message section of my EBay. One from England and the other from Germany. Both of them offered me the guitar under the second chance option. They both looked legitimate. The major clue that something was a little too good to be true was that I had to contact them at their return Email address rather than through EBay. I cannot find a way to report them as none of the links to report fraud seem to connect. This is probably old hat to a lot of you, but it sure garnered my attention. It pays to take that extra moment to check things out. FFPW content - it's still sitting out in the yard awaiting next spring!
