Soaked my clutch but it works worse than before?

Been gone a couple of days. Before I left, I took off my clutch from my cycle fender and soaked it in 90 wt oil while I was traveling like Paul said to. When I got back yesterday, I put it back on and it works worse than it did before.

Paul, what did I do wrong or will it just get better?
