M35 clutches are made with some material that is not damaged by oil. I know because I've gotten a lot of oil on the clutches of two trucks, one due to a leaky rear main seal and the other due to overfilling the tranny, which doesn't have a seal on the input shaft. In both cases the clutch started slipping until I fixed the source of oil and rinsed the clutch off somewhat by spraying brake cleaner up into the bellhousing while having somebody work the clutch. I thought the clutches would be glazed from that abuse, but they seem to be fine. I later read somewhere that they deliberately used oil-resistant material.
