I agree with AAA at 170 the truck should not need new injectors. Is this your first diesel? I have a 92 with a slightly turned up pump and it will smoke pretty good under a load when getting on the interstate. It’s at 250k or so right. I had the vales adjusted at 200k when I got the truck due to not knowing the maintenance history and 2 exhaust valves were slightly out. Bottom line unless it has lost power I wouldn’t worry about.
