I echo everything Marty says. If I were to own only one Power Wagon, it would have the express box. The boom depending on its rating could be useful. Since I have more than one PW, I might consider keeping it. As Tim mentions the boom on trail rides would be a problem, at least in the timber in the north east. You need to decide what/how your PW will be used. This will quickly tell you what to do with the rear.
