When I bought it at a farm auction lot, between auctions for chickens and pigs, it had no front axle assembly. They forked it onto a trailer backwards, and I drove off. At home, we backed it into the driveway, jacked the front bumper up onto a 55 gal drum, and s-l-o-w-l-y drove the trailer out from under. Worked fine, until the rear wheels got to the top of the ramps....woopsie... rear rolled down the ramp, front tipped the drum over, drum fell, crossmember crushed drum, which absorbed the impact, lowering front to jackstand height...everything according to...plan...uhuh... Moral of the story- "If you are going to use a drum for a jackstand, be sure and leave the plugs in, it acts as an air bag that way". No thats not the Riggers Code- "It's better to be lucky and Unsafe, than to be Safe and unlucky" ?
