I have Dodge electronic ignition on my flathead. Use the housing from a /6 electronic distributor, the lower shaft from the civilian flat 6 dist and the centrifugal advance from /6 dist. You have to turn about .020-.030 off the /6 dist housing for it to fit in the block on the flathead. For EFI you will have to disable the centrifugal advance unless you find some 80's dist. without it. I use a GM 4 pin module to fire it instead of the chrysler hei box. No resistor and no problems in about 2 yrs use.
