I just got my 230 block back from the rebuilders and they reconditioned the rods for me. It looks like they honed the bearingd for the rod pins and I was wondering if I should get new pins and bearings for the rods or use the old ones. They seem to be in good shape but there is the slightest bit of play when I slide one of the pins in any of the rods. Also the retainer on the cam is sticking out about an eighth of an inch. Will this slide back in when I put the bolts in and tighten down? These may seem like basic questions but I want to do this right. Thanks in advance
