most michelin tires have a 6 year carcas
life expectancy
mfg date on side as week no/year no
after that the casings have problems
all the XPS tires on our motorcoach had the
sidewall crack problems
Michelin did prorate all 9 (took back the
new spare that had never seen light of day)
had about 20% tread wear
most over the road tires do not have these problems due to the high mileage in low time
frames
