I once ran out of gas not even a half a block from the gas station. Left the truck in gear and used the starter until I got the truck off the road and up to the gas pump. It took like 5 or 10 minutes but it got me there. No way could I do something like that with the 89 Ford that I once had. Not when one had to apply the clutch to complete the starting circuit. Robert
