Get at least a 10,000# capacity trailer and a 12,000# capacity would be better. Also you should have a 1 ton truck for towing your PW. An absolute minimum would be a 3/4 ton truck. Think brakes and stopping all that weight. 1 tons have better brakes as do the 12,000# trailers. Also tend to have extra capacity and not just make the minimum to haul the PW. Check the trucks owners manual for towing specs.

Just think that you are responsible if anything happens while you are towing the PW. It is much easier to explain to a jury that you were well within the limits of the truck and trailer than if you were pushing or over the limits. Besides that I want to be on the safe side. Not like the Blazer I saw in the ditch yesterday with its top missing and it's trailer sitting in the ditch beside it. You could see the skid marks and where the trailer jack knifed. Either no brakes on the trailer or it was too big to be behind the Blazer. This is the 2nd jack knife accident that I have seen since late May.
