I think there are internal differences, but I don't think they matter, as I had a similar industrial engine arrive in the front of one of my Carryalls.
I think the most you would have to do would be to make sure the bellhousing and flywheel matched your truck components, and you would probably have to fit the external oil filter mounts, stuff like that - but if the engine is otherwise in good condition you shouldn't have to open it up and swap internal parts.
