That question is slightly more complicated then you think.

First, the WDX gauge style was used from the 1946 model year (some were made in 1945) until 1950 for the most part, but a limited number of 1951 B-3s (something like the first 600) also had that gauge style. Clint Dixon has one of those first 600 trucks, and Matt the CC man showed up with one at the rally.

The later gauges changed a couple times, they were chrome with a mechanical temp gauge until 1954, and then painted with an electrical temp gauge from 1955 on. There may have been some overlap in 55 with the chrome gauges.

The amp gauge read 50-0-50 in the 6 volt trucks, 30-0-30 in the 12 volt trucks up until 1960 or so, and then read 60-0-60 in the eraly 60s, and D- +C in the later 60s.

The gauge housings were basicly the same from 1951 (after the first 600 or so) until 1968 at least, and the 69-71 export trucks I have seen still used the same housing.
