I've heard that before but just can't see it. Following the parts book image that puts the springs acting one in each turning direction, which makes since.

In the illustration, which end is truly the Pitman Arm? (As I have it labeled, or the other end?)

My spring was outboard of the pitman arm ball when I pulled it apart and the spring was inboard of the wheel arm ball. Backwards of what I've heard.

Based on the wear of my pitman arm I'm glad I have the replacement.

But based on the condition of the drag link it looks like I need a replacement as well.
