I am getting ready to paint the body and frame of the carryall. I have chosen DP, which is an epoxy primer. You can spray top coat on it between 1 hour and 7 days without having to rough it up, and the epoxy bonds to the surface paint. According to the restoration people I have spoken to, this is considered over doing it on the frame. But I wan't no problems for the next owner of the truck, since I am selling it when finished.
