I found a reference to S11 in a book I have, and it says that it is a 1946 Desoto, though it does not say what the size of the engine is.

Some quick research on the web leads me to think the engines were 236ci making it a 25" block.

Anyone else know what a 1946 Desoto 6cyl size was?
