We did the math thing here about 5-6 months ago. For every 100,000 miles that you drive,a Cummins will save you $8,778 dollars in fuel alone. Based upon both fuel costs and mileage advantage. That's enough to pay for the down payment and the Cummins, and get 600 ft. lbs of torque and 345 HP to boot! When you consider that the Cummins should give you 300,000 trouble free miles that's some serious money, $26,334.00
