I'm very happy with the '01 CTD 3500. Even with the fuel guzzeling duallies, I'm still averaging 19 MPG on my 3 times a week, 185 mile round trip to Seattle and back (over a 5000 ft pass I might add). My computer reads 16.5 but my speedo is off because of the taller tires I run.
This truck is by far the best truck I have ever owned. I hear lots of jabber about the noise level of the "older" CTD's, and personally I think that rattle of the diesel is awesome!
