Now that's a nice set up! Only 44,000 lb load (22 tons) on the back of a 5 ton truck including the tank with 4,000 gals of water. I wonder how the Fire Dept got away with it? I guess that is OK only about 22,000 pounds per axle not inclding the truck weight and they used to allow fire trucks to be over loaded till people started getting killed a lot driving them then OSHA steped in and changed that rule. You will see more truck being sold since they did that and a lot more now that the Fire Season is ending except for California! Mark H.
