At 8.3 pounds per gallon that is 33,200 lbs for the water add the tank in average 2.33 pounds per gal for the steel makes the average tank 10.63 pounds per gallon of water. 10.63 X 4,000 = 42,500 lbs aprox weight. Throw in the pump, hoses, tools ect and it will go up more. Add that to the trucks weight and percentage of the load on the front axle you will be pushing the weight load rating. Mark H.
