I'm all for preserving originality-- if the way you plan to use the vehicle is consistent with its original
design intent. For daily driving at sustained higher speeds, you'll appreciate a v8. Once you start with
the modifications, however, its easy to keep going-- my M37 has v8, automatic, power steering, power
boosted brakes,etc. The good part is that with each modification, I find myself driving the beast more
often. Try to use a balanced approach-- e.g. if you upgrade your go power with a v8, update your
whoa power with better braking. Email me if you have any questions.
