I have a '63 WM300 with the 251 flathead. The engine needs a rebuild but I'm not sure that the money wouldn't be better spent on an engine swap. My first choice would be a small block Chevy, but I would like to hear from anyone who has done any kind of engine swap. I would like to retain the NP 420 trans. Can it be adapted to a Chevy block? Any information would be appreciated.
