Truck is owned by a savage yard operator in Garber, IA named Dave. Originally owned by a friend in the wrecker business. It was quite busy in its early years pulling milk trucks and farm achinery out of trouble when the roads were soft in the spring. It was the only truck that could pull them out. Dave helped the original owner replace the engine with a Mercury V-8 and later changed the transmission to a five speed. It was sold to a savage yard in Dubuque, IA who really rode it hard. They also tore out the driveline and brake lines moving about with a fork truck. Dave aquired the truck about 15 years ago and got it running again but it has sat for years. He hopes to get it running again someday. He has another power wagon for parts, (turned out to be a weapons carrier). Good luck Dave I'll bet it never moves from its spot in the yard. Its always fun junkin' on a day off - kinda felt like my name was Eric for the day.
