These were commonly used with POWER-WAGONS equipped for public utility work. They were normally supplied by the companies who manufactured the "Pole Derricks" sometimes used on these trucks. Batavia Metal Products Corp. and the Eagle Mfg. Company were two of the companies who designed and built these derricks to aid in lifting and setting utility poles.
