Cowl light question....

Ok, it is time for my stupid question of the month!

I have a guy who wants a drivers side cowl light, but I forgot which side the ones I have came off of. They are stamped R and L on the underside, but I am not sure if L is left as veiwed from behind the truck, or in front.

Anyone know?
