Radial tires for Power Wagons (?)

I finally got a chance to drive my WM300 (1961). I was amazed at How the suspension beat me up on a smooth highway. I need to buy new tires anyway and a friend said there would be no problem with putting radials on the split rims. I would appreciate sme suggestions on the type and size. Have been following along on this page for nearly two years but just got my truck in January. Thanks for the help. Bill
