First of all don't get your hopes up about phenomenal fuel mileage. That won't happen in a PW=) Otherwise, I used a married up 205 transfer case setup and that eliminated the short shaft. The case would have had to have been moved to use the original divorced unit. AA would not make the rear of their OD to fit a Dodge NP435, only chevy or ford gearbox. I see from the link to the site about the Ranger someone found a way to do it himself. I didn't think about trying something like that. I found a chevy SM465 and married 205 for mine. I have been asked to post information about my setup on Norm's site and will do that when the steelhead fishing slows down in a several weeks.
