1:87 scale is the precise model scale for HO scale model railroads. The "Busch" models are typically fairly true to scale. Many of the old "Matchbox" / "Hot Wheel" cars were roughly 1:87, but overall, their scales do vary. The size of the truck would be small compared to many to the P-W die-cast models (about 1 to 1 1/2 inches long).
The big question for me will be, will my brother be the first to buy me a 1:87 P-W since I have my '53 B4, OR, will I beat him to it as a present for his HO scale model railroad! Bruce
