Must be a weather related phenom? My Parts Pile had poly fuel lines on it for 38 years, they were rock hard but not yet brittle. The rubber lines degrade down here quickly in the smog, but you need something to eliminate shock between frame and engine and tank and frame. Periodical maintenance is a pain isn't it? ha!ha!
