I'd forget the steel pipe and use pvc and bury it directly. I use pvc for all my air lines in my shop, cheap, easy to install, I run 175 lbs of air too, and it's never blown up. The only bad thing might be that steel helps keep the air cool which condenstes the water out before your spray gun, kind of acts like an air drier, course proper pitching and a water drain-off are needed to keep moisture out. good luck
