It is a D400-D500 or D600.

A W200-W500 (in 57 there was no W300 of that body style) would have a driven front axle, or some evidence of there having been a driven front axle at the very least.

Sorry I can't find that number, but it is a 2wd 2 ton or so truck, it would only be a W series if it was 4wd.,
