I get my cast off Tuesday. Crutches are a real struggle, and tend to start damaging other things.... the back, the knee being used to walk, the hands. Although, I have watched slow motion video of how giraffes run, and I almost have that technique perfected. I can move with breathtaking speed through the building at work.
I am not at liberty to comment on those other indelicate matters you reference.
My remarks downstream were intended to help newcomers to our hobby, not to elevate one vehicle above another. As you would know, I serve and support all of the many models with enthusiasm and true reverence.
My thoughts were based in strong memory of times when I first saw a Power Wagon, then.... two months later, I saw an M37, then a month later, saw a WWII 3/4 ton weapons carrier. It is hard to track the differences as a beginner, and they all had flat fenders. That is how this all started. I was confused in the very beginning, and try to help novices avoid that feeling.
I managed to offend or upset a few folks, which was not my intent. I have, in some instances, written personal notes to right the wrong I had apparently committed in their mind. I don't want anyone upset.
thanks for your note...
