How to make the ampmeter work with bigger alternater?

I,ve installed a 100 amp alternator in my 46 WDX, Is there an electrical resister or something I can use with my 35 amp ampmeter and still make it kind of work so it still looks original. Are the any larger amperage meters out there to fit the gage slots for a 46WDX. Any suggestions? Alan Koester Retseoka@aol.com
