I know it is more effort, but if you don't use rubber hose under presssure you will eliminate many fire risks. Replace your rubber with steel lines in full lengths, and move all filters that need rubber connections to the suction side of the pump. I just had some O-rings go bad on a Holley 4bbl carb, I had installed some 8 year old ones 3 weeks ago. They had SHRUNK when exposed to the new gas. Talk about BAD chemistry!
