If you do a good solder Joint it helps but the problem is if it is cold joint or the wrong type of solder (acid Core)it can cause problems. The biggest problem is people using cheap crimpers not designed for the crimp. The ones I use cost about 50.00 a set. If you do solder crimp the conection first. Connectors are designed to be crimped only if done right. You can also use a No-lox inhibitor compound on the conections to help with that problem. Mark H.
