Using a towbar on a Power Wagon or M-37 etc is asking for trouble. The wheels do not necessarily track well....in fact usually they do not, especially going around a corner. And in most cases, the PW will end up winning unless you have a mighty stout truck.
I agree with others who say to get a trailer...they are way handy. And get a decently equipped one also, 5200 lb axles, brakes on all four wheels and use a load equilizer Class 4 hitch....and then don't speed.
There are lots or horror stories out there, don't be the next one.
