Hi,
I am having problems putting the trans back into my 1962 W300. It is a np420 with a hydrulic clutch. I had it out once and it went back in with no problem. This second time I cannot get it back in. I use two studs as guides so I know I am at the right height. I also have made sure the clutch is lined up with the pilot bearing using an clutch alignment tool. What could I be missing or is there a trick I do not know of??? Thanks for any input.
