We finally got the call today from our son, SGT Erik J. Singsaas, a 98C/Arabic Linguist with the 311th Military Intelligence Battalion of the 101st Airborne Divison, asking that we come and get his truck. (He doesn’t want to park it at the motor pool for an undetermined amount of time!) Our own Paul Cook is a former MI Officer (I think he fought Santa Anna...: ) and probably knows more about what my son will be doing than I do! But I do know that we’re as proud of our son as we are of all the young (and old, I was old when I got out!) men and women of the services. God Bless them and take care of them. We all hope there can still be a peaceful solution to all this... but with the history of the Middle East, they don’t do to many things peacefully.
