There are two bulbs that use the same base,

1156, single element

1157, dual element.

There is a small glass version of the 1156, but I do not know of a smaller glass version of the 1157.

By the way, yes, I know there are several other bulbs that use that same base, a very bright version of the 1157(number forgotten) and many others, I am just mentioning the most common.
