it is a square shape, holes in each corner. and tapered to level the carb. flat head screws hold it down, they use studs to mount carb- that way you can drop nuts down the intake, instead of bolts that are big enough to hold on to. You can make one out of 3/8 aluminum (forget the taper)if nobody in your neighborhood has one.
