Just got done watching an old news clip (or Dodge Commercial that was 10 mins long)on Turner Classic Movies. It was about 7 Dodges treking across Africa in the late 40's very early 50's carrying an MGM film crew to location for a shooting. There was a 40 VC12 a FFPW with a stake body 2 FFPw School Buses 2 49/501 1/2 tons Stake bodies and a 49/50 LCF with what looked like and old IceCream delivery body on it. Nothing but praise for the Dodges getting the job done where there were no roads.
