We live in a marketing driven society.
We are told we can have it all. The beer commercial life.
We must want, have and love what is “new” and shiny.
Bells and whistles are a must.
Simple and functional cannot be sold, not enough things to break which would necessitate a buying yet again another “new” and shiny.
Our loved ones must have the latest model, the bigger house, the nicer neighborhood, newer clothes.
Two incomes provide these things. These things necessitate two incomes.
We have time for work, friends, hobbies, but squeeze in time for our kids.
$800/month for a new Tahoe is just a cost of living.
$800/month into a savings or retirement account is just a waste.
God, school and state must be separated.
We are somehow better than those heathens mentioned in the Bible.
I could go on forever.
I laugh about the “ugly truck” comments.
I know in my heart that anyone can love something/someone that is outwardly beautiful.
Not everyone was blessed with seeing something/someone that is beautiful.
It was 4 degrees with snow flurries when I came to work today and today is the most beautiful day!
Best wishes,
Mike
