The tremendous imbalance between the overoveroverkill 780 ft-lb Cat diesel and the relatively puny automatic transmission, aluminum transfer case, Dana 44 (8.5" ring gear) and corporate 9.25" (not even full-floating!) axles is disappointing. It would have been more balanced with a 4BT (with a mere 327 ft-lb torque), a NV5600 cast iron 6 speed, a divorced NP205 (for "realism" vis-a-vis the Power Wagon history), and Dana 60 front/Dana 70 rear axles. And maybe leaf springs. If it were set up like that, I might even be interested in buying one.
