I am in the midst of tearing down my engine from my B4PW. I have read that for increasing performance, there are several things one can do ranging from deepening and widening the oil grooves in the crank bearings to porting the head, decking the head, balancing the crank, connecting rods and flywheel. What about the cam? I've heard that a high performance cam is available. Can anyone give me info on it-brands and cost. I have heard that there is a way grinding the original cam lobes but what does this mean? Any tips appreciated since I have not yet taken the block in to be worked on. I think overall the engine is in good shape since there are no pits, grooves or other damage to cylinder walls.
