Sam, its roughly 20pgs. printed on quality paper of a beige/sand tone in B/W print and graphics which I find pleasing considering the paper color and quality. It has letters from readers, tech articles, trucks for sale, parts for sale, parts wanted, etc. and Gordons legendary "sitting on the tailgate" that sets the mood of that issue. In the early years before home PCs and the internet as we know it today, the PWA was the best and most unifying PW source around and it was THE source for parts and friendship as Dave Butlers (then) fledgling VPWs advertised there and hosted the very first PW rally with an open invitation in the PWA.
Gordon is finally on-line with the PWA page
but many old subscribers still get that thrill when each month the PWA arrives in the mailbox. Its one thing to post on the PW forums but, until you see a letter you've written published in the PWA, you ain't been thrilled! Heck, "its as thrilling as the thrill that'll getcha, when ya get ya picture, on the cover of the rolling stone"
