You can now order a 2003 CTD HO with the new and improved 49RE auto.
Supposed to be a good one but only time will tell..
On a side note, a buddy of mine is selling his '94 CTD, auto, reg cab, 4x4, long bed with 156k on the clock with no tranny related problems ever.
If I could only scrounge up an extra $8300 I'd buy it...<sigh>
