By redline I mean the highest sustainable speed you can operate the engine at under normal conditions.
I took my truck on its first long trip, 2400 miles round trip and kept it under 2500 rpm at +or-68 mph. 4.10 rear end and 15 inch tires. That speed/rpm just felt right. I was just wondering what was the maximum rpm that I should drive and what the manufacture suggested.
