Has anyone removed a PW Dash Board

I would like to replace a worn, rusted, to many holes drilled dash board with a good one. However, on looking at the DOdge COnstruction it looks like the dash went in before the front door posts. The dash sits into the door posts about 1.500" on both sides.

So has anyone ever removed one without damage, and how.
