I saw some "before" pics of left side the other week on this site. To say it looked like a challenge is to put it mildly.
The "after" pics of left side were totally amazing. Ditto for above pic of right side.
A number of years ago I watched a body specialists use english wheels and other similar tooling to hand form steel panels for collectible racing/sports cars of the 50's and 60's. I can't remember the name of the place, but it's in (was in?) Stratford, CT.
How in the world does one form a steel panel repair section to mate with a correspoding radius, without the english wheel and/or other forming/stamping eqt? Is it possible to do that by hand, with hammers and dolly's and wooden forms? If so, it seems like it'd be a lifelong job for the first timer.
You seem to have done it in two weeks. Great job!
