That, I am not sure of. I did not have access to all of this information untill after I bought my wire rope from a farm supply store. I assume that is what it was. In any case, it has held up real well. BTW, I do oil my wire rope. I have concerns about the oil collecting and holding grit and increasing wear so I always keep the winch drum under a canvas cover.
